Adding pets

Adding an animal to Norbo is a guided process that adapts to the species you choose. Each type of animal has a tailored form, with the fields most relevant to its needs.

From the main screen, tap the "+" button to add a new animal. The first choice is the category: dog, cat, bird, fish, reptile, small mammal and so on. Based on the category, Norbo will show the most suitable fields.

Filling out the profile

1. 1Choose the animal's category.
2. 2Enter the name and, if you like, a photo.
3. 3Set the birthdate: it can be approximate.
4. 4Add weight, sex and neutered status.
5. 5Select breed or species with autocomplete assistance.
6. 6Add any personal notes.

Don't know your animal's exact breed? No problem. The "I don't know" option is always available, so you can create the profile without getting stuck on a detail you can add later.

You can edit any information at any time. Animal profiles grow with them: as you log events, expenses and photos, the profile becomes the complete diary of their life.
